FCP Fast Charge is Huawei's own fast charge Protocol standard, full name Fast Charge Protocol, using the QC2.0 consistent high voltage 9V 2A fast charge standard, 2015 Huawei Mate 8 charger has supported 9V 2A 18W fast charge.
The next year in 2016, Huawei Mate9 released and upgraded FCP fast Charge to SCP fast charge, the full name of which is Super Charge Protocol. SCP adopts a fast charge scheme different from FCP, supporting a maximum of 22.5W fast charge, and using 4.5V5A and 5V4.5A low voltage direct charge charging schemes. The benefits are lower heat and higher efficiency. SCP is based on the USB-A interface, and requires the use of 5A USB-A to USB-C fast charge cable.
