IBM announced that it has created the world's first semiconductor chip with a 2nm process. IBM today unveiled what it claims is the world's first 2-nanometer chip manufacturing technology, and said the technology can make chips up to 45 percent faster and up to 75 percent more energy efficient than today's mainstream 7-nanometer chips. Many laptops and mobile phones use 7-nanometer chips, and 2-nanometer chip manufacturing technology is likely to take years to reach the market. Now only ibm has announced 2nm chips, others have not announced, and can not be put into use. So right now, it's ibm, not Qualcomm. Who declared no use, the real mass production civilian estimate is still early.
