Take iPhone 10 and iOS 9.2.1 as an example.
First, enter the phone's Settings interface;

Click on the Bluetooth option;

Select more ICONS on the right side of the Airpods headphones;

Select the Ignore this device option at the bottom;

In the pop-up prompt below, click Ignore device to cancel the match between device and iPhone;

Finally, open the battery compartment of the headphones, tap the iCloud option on the phone to connect, and the Apple wireless headphones can be re-paired.

Open the cover and press and hold the Settings button on the back of the charging case for about 15 seconds until the indicator flashes white to reset the headset.

Then open Settings and tap Bluetooth.

Turn on Bluetooth, re-search the headset and tap Connect.
