The charging port of the apple pencil is located on the back of the pen, similar to a cap, and can be unplugged to reveal the built-in lignting charging plug. Plug it into the ipad's port to charge it, or use the charging adapter to plug it into the lighting cable to charge it.
2. Wireless charging
Second generation Apple Pencil has wireless charging function and can be directly attached to iPad by magnetic force. On the Pro side bezel, it automatically pairs with the device and starts charging.
