First, the main power source of new energy vehicles is the power battery, which is often fully charged and fully discharged (SOC to 15%) to maintain the activity of the power battery.

Second, due to the differences in various local power grid environment, charging equipment status, environmental temperature and other factors, in order to ensure charging efficiency and battery safety, the charging power will change during the charging process.

Please contact BYD Auto authorized service shop (such as the installation agency designated by the local government, in accordance with local government regulations and policies) for the installation of the charging box. Private installation and dismantling are strictly prohibited.

Fourth, the charging box power distribution needs to be distributed separately by the power grid, the power grid side needs to be connected to the circuit breaker, the input power grid should ensure that the ground wire is reliably connected, the power grid cable size must meet the requirements of the cable (national standard copper core wire) diameter in the manual of the wall-mounted charging box (3.3KW charging box power grid cable size requirements ≥2.5mm2; 7KW charging box power grid cable size requirements ≥6mm2; 40KW charging box power cable size requirements ≥16mm2).

Fifth, it is strictly prohibited to directly connect the national standard three-core plug to the socket after stripping the wire to charge, and it is prohibited to use the \"flying line charging\" method to charge the vehicle, otherwise it will affect the power grid, there is a fire hazard, and the property and personal safety losses caused by it will be borne by the customer.

6. Customers who do not install charging box conditions can use the three-turn seven charging gun (equipped sometimes) with the car to charge; When in use, ensure that the three-core plug is reliably connected to the socket, the ground cable of the power side of the socket is reliably connected, and the overcurrent capacity of the socket must be greater than or equal to 10A. Do not use an uncertified socket.

7. When charging:

(a) Portable charging gun or charging box, please keep away from fireworks, damp, dust, combustible and corrosive places;

(2) It is forbidden to place charging equipment and connecting cables in the driving room, engine compartment, trunk, under the car, and above the tire;

(3) Prohibit children from being near charging vehicles and charging boxes;

(d) In case of fire, under the condition of ensuring personal safety, please immediately cut off the main switch of the power grid, use the ABC type dry powder fire extinguisher to extinguish the open fire, and at the same time use a large dose of water to continue to cool the vehicle. At the same time, call the fire alarm number and contact the BYD Auto authorized service shop.

When the vehicle is not in use for a long time, the power battery must be charged and discharged every 3 months (charge to 100% first, and discharge to 40%-60% (DM model) or 30%-40% (EV model)). Otherwise, it will lead to overdischarge of the power battery, reduce its performance, and the resulting vehicle failure and damage will not be guaranteed.
