Sandstone formations and sunlight create this amazing canyon.
The Colorado River flows day and night, continuing to shape the Grand Canyon. The Colorado Plateau's countless seasonal rivers also periodically rush through slits like Antelope Canyon, deepening and widening them. Geologists tell us that in a few million years, the Grand Canyon will be as wide as the other side and as deep as sea level.
