The iwatchgps version connects to the wireless network as follows:

Start by pairing your iPhone with your Apple Watch (iPhone 5 or above,iOS8.2 or above) to keep the two connected by Bluetooth.

Then go to 【 Settings 】> 【 Wireless LAN 】> [Access Point used], tap the circle exclamation point icon on the far right of the access point, go to the access point information page, select [Ignore this network] (delete the access point password).

When the phone and Apple Watch are in the same WIFI access point signal range, turn on the phone Bluetooth and WIFI, do not put the Watch in airplane mode or power saving mode, make sure that the phone and Apple Watch are connected.

Go to [Settings] -- [Wireless LAN] on your iPhone, find the appropriate WIFI access point, tap it, and re-enter the WIFI password.

The GPS version of the Apple Watch can't connect to a wireless network, it can only connect to the iPhone via Bluetooth to get data and update software. Only the full Apple Watch will be able to connect over a Wi-Fi network.
