A total of five Chinese companies made the Boston Consulting Group's list of the world's 50 Best innovative Companies for 2021: Huawei (No. 8), Alibaba (No. 14), Lenovo (No. 25), Tencent (No. 26) and Xiaomi (No. 31). All are private enterprises. Interestingly, although technology companies are the largest, these companies are difficult to categorize. Google, Facebook, including Huawei, IBM, Lenovo are all defined as \"technology companies.\" Such a broad term may be used because these companies are so diverse that they simply do not fit into one category.
