How can two routers be wired and restricted?

Wire bridge method for two routers:

< br >

1. Wired configuration is easier than wireless configuration. You only need to prepare network cables. First, you need a router as the primary router, which is responsible for connecting to the Internet, and other routers are connected to it. The DHCP service needs to be enabled in router Settings.

2. Connect the second router to the first router: Connect the network cable to any LAN port of the first router (the interface name is usually identified on the router), and then connect the network cable to any LAN port of the second router. At the same time, disable the DHCP service.

3. If you want to connect multiple routers, connect the NTH router as described above. Notice Disable the DHCP function on all routers except the first router.

When two routers need a wired connection, they need to be connected using a network cable. However, when connecting, it is important to note that if both routers use DHCP, the network may be limited because they will try to assign the same IP address.

The workaround is to turn off DHCP on one router and plug its LAN port into the WAN port of the other router. This way, the second router can be used as an extended network and the Internet connection can be shared using both routers.
