There are three ways dolphins can be powered, and the time they take to fully charge is different:
1. Portable charging gun: The power of the portable charging gun equipped with the car when purchasing BYD Dolphin is only 1.5kw, so it takes about 29.9 hours to fully charge BYD Dolphin using the portable charging gun;
2. Home charging pile: BYD Dolphin will install a home charging pile for the owner free of charge within two years. The electric power of the home charging pile is 7kw, and it takes about 6.4 hours to fully charge;
3, commercial charging pile: commercial charging pile is generally in the form of DC fast charge for the owner to charge. The current DC charging pile on the market has a power of about 37.5kw, and it takes 1.2 hours to fully charge.

According to theoretical calculations, the time from 0 to full charge of dolphin 301km version is 30.7kWh÷3Kw≈10h; Dolphin 405km version from 0 to full charge time is 44.9kWh÷3Kw≈15h.
Dolphin home charging pile is fully charged in about half an hour.
Dolphin supports two forms of slow charge and fast charge, and the fast charge interface and slow charge interface are centralized together. Assuming that the vehicle power is about 45%, the fast charge can be full in about half an hour, but the slow charge will take 10 hours, so the slow charge will be connected when you come back from work, so that the next day before work can be fully charged.
