TL431 and LM317 are two different voltage regulation devices and cannot be used directly.
The TL431 is a reference voltage source that can be used for voltage comparison, voltage regulation, current limiting and other applications. It works by controlling the output voltage by adjusting the voltage difference between its pins.
The LM317 is an adjustable positive voltage regulator that can control the output voltage by adjusting its output resistance. Its working principle is to control the output voltage by adjusting the working state of its internal triode.
Although both can be used for voltage regulation, their working principles and parameters are different and cannot be directly replaced. If you need to replace the voltage regulator, select an appropriate voltage regulator based on the application scenario and requirements.
TL431 is a voltage reference chip, the working current is not large, 317 is a three-end output voltage adjustable module, TL431 can not be replaced by 317.
