HX6048-NGA is a high performance complete constant current\/constant voltage linear lithium-ion battery charger. Its package and small number of external components make the HX6048-NGA ideal for portable applications. The charging current can be externally adjusted with a single resistor, up to 0.9A. HX6048-NGA determines the charging mode by detecting the battery voltage: pre-charging, constant current charging, constant voltage charging. The charging current of pre-charge and constant current charge can be adjusted. The HX6048-NGA is monitored by a temperature monitor during constant current and constant voltage charging. There are two indicators indicating the charging mode. The HX6048-NGA is packaged in SOP-8L.
