In hardware, CAN bus is composed of controller and interface chip. The former is used to generate send frame or parse receive frame according to CAN protocol, and control the communication process. The latter is the bidirectional conversion of the serial signal of the controller and the balanced differential signal required for bus transmission.
In the data format, the CAN bus communication frame includes arbitration field, control field, data field, check field and some filling control bits.
