If the built-in sensor of the tire pressure monitor is out of power, a new sensor needs to be replaced. Here's how to do it:
< br >
1. Prepare the required tools: tire wrench, new sensor, screwdriver, jack, pad, etc.
< br >
2. Lift the tire: Park the vehicle on a level ground and use a jack to lift the side of the tire where the sensor needs to be replaced. Ensure stable vehicle support.
< br >
3. Remove the tire: loosen the tire bolts, remove the tire bolts in turn, and then slowly remove the tire from the wheel hub.
< br >
4. Remove the sensor: Find the tire pressure monitoring sensor on the wheel hub on the inside of the tire. Use a screwdriver to remove the sensor from the hub. Be careful not to damage the cable of the sensor.
< br >
5. Install the new sensor: Install the new sensor on the wheel hub to ensure that it is firmly installed. Reconnect the connection wire in the same way the original sensor was connected.
< br >
6. Put the tire back: Put the tire back into the hub and make sure the tire pressure is normal. Then install the tire bolts, first by hand and then tighten with a tire wrench.
< br >
7. Lower the vehicle: Lower the jack and let the vehicle return to the ground.
< br >
8. Check tire pressure: Start the vehicle and check whether the tire pressure monitoring system is working normally. If possible, you can go to the tire shop or repair shop for inspection.
