How to determine the peak temperature of lead-free BGA for solder solder welding?

Ordinary lead-free solder, melting point 210-230 degrees, working temperature 245-280 degrees, lead solder according to the different tin content, for example, sn63pb37, melting point 183 degrees, working degree 240-250, tin content reduced by 3%-5% of its melting point increased by about 10 degrees, the working temperature increased by 10-20 degrees. You can calculate the range value by this ratio.

The difference between lead-free welding and lead welding:

In fact, the main difference is the welding temperature, lead-free tin wire requires a higher welding temperature, generally about 250 degrees, while the ordinary solder wire welding temperature is 180 degrees, so the welding temperature of the lead-free welding table is higher, and the heating speed of the lead-free welding table is faster. Of course, there are exceptions, in lead-free solder, there are also low-temperature solders, whose melting point is lower than that of lead solder. But the price of this low-temperature solder is quite expensive.

In theory, lead solder joints can also be welded with a lead-free welding table, because the temperature of the lead-free welding table can reach the melting point of the lead solder. But in fact, no one uses it this way, because once the lead solder is welded on the lead-free welding table, the lead-free welding table is contaminated and can no longer do lead-free environmental protection products.

In turn, it is not possible to weld lead-free solder with a lead welding table, because the temperature of the lead welding table may not reach the melting temperature of the lead-free solder.
