Huawei launched Kirin 990 and 9905G simultaneously in China and Germany, which are the world's first 5G chips based on 7nm and EUV processes. 9905G is the world's first mobile terminal chip with more than 10 billion transistors, reaching 10.3 billion transistors, an increase of 4.4 billion transistors compared with the previous Kirin 980.
It is understood that Kirin 9905G integrates 5G baseband chip Balong 5000, which can realize 5G network without external 5G chip, and supports two 5G networking modes of SA\/NSA. The Kirin 9905G achieves a leading 2.3Gbps peak download rate in the Sub-6GHz band and an uplink peak rate of 1.25Gbps.
