Sun Xiqing, from Weifang, Shandong province, was admitted to the Department of electrical Engineering at Tsinghua University in 1987. After completing her studies at Tsinghua, Sun Xiqing went to Japan to continue her studies at the University of Tokyo and worked as a researcher for two years.
Since 2005, Sun Xiqing has purchased a key LED chip equipment worth millions of dollars from the United States to study LED chips. \"The emperor does not fail,\" finally in August 2009, micro produced the first LED street lamp. After various tests, more than 40,000 LED street lights were put into use in Weifang. Sun Xiqing made Weifang \"the first LED city in the world\".
With the advent of LED lights, micro and medium companies have also ushered in a heyday. Sun Xiqing is also known as the \"father of China LED\".
