The LM5017 is a 100V, 600mA synchronous step-down regulator with integrated high - and low-side MOSFEts. The constant on-time (COT) control scheme used in the LM5017 provides excellent transient response without loop compensation and enables extremely high step-down ratios. The on-time is inversely proportional to the input voltage, which keeps the frequency almost constant throughout the input voltage range. The high voltage start regulator provides bias power for the internal operation of the IC as well as the integrated gate driver.
The peak current limiting circuit prevents overload. Low Voltage latching (UVLO) circuits support low voltage input thresholds and other protection features including thermal shut-off and low voltage locking (V CC UVLO).
The LM5017 devices are packaged in WSON-8 and HSOP PowerPAD-8 plastic.
