There are many kinds of chips commonly used in buck circuit, and different chips can be selected according to different application scenarios and requirements. The following are some commonly used buck circuit chips:

1. Linear voltage regulator chip: The more common linear voltage regulator chips are LM317, LM7805, etc., which can stabilize the input voltage and output a fixed lower voltage.

2. Switching voltage regulator chip: Switching voltage regulator chip can achieve high efficiency voltage reduction when the input voltage is higher than the output voltage. Common switching regulator chips are LM2596, LM2576 and so on.

3. DC-DC converter chip: The DC-DC converter chip can reduce the output voltage through power conversion. Common DC-DC converter chips are LM2596, MC34063 and so on.

4. Controller chip: Controller chip is usually used to design complex buck circuit, through the external MOS tube and other devices to achieve buck function, such as LM5117, LM3524, etc.
