How to use brushless motor without driving board?

Brushless motors do not require a drive plate to work properly. The brushless motor is rotated by electronic commutation, and this process needs to be controlled by the drive board. However, in some special cases, some methods can be taken to temporarily use brushless motors, but this method is not recommended because it may damage the motor and equipment.

The following is a possible way to temporarily use a brushless motor:

Connect the power supply: Connect the brushless motor directly to the AC power supply (note: the rated voltage of the motor matches the voltage of the power supply).

Make a simple control circuit: To prevent the motor from overheating, you can make a simple control circuit, including a resistor and a switch. Resistors can limit the current and thus reduce the speed of the motor.

Install protection: For safety reasons, it is best to install a fuse or fuse between the motor and the power supply.

Start the motor: Turn on the switch and the motor starts to rotate. It should be noted that in this case, the speed of the motor may be low, and precise control cannot be achieved.

Stop the motor: turn off the switch and the motor stops rotating.

It should be noted that this temporary method is only suitable for short time, low speed, light load usage scenarios. Using this method for a long time may cause the motor to overheat, damage or even cause a fire. Therefore, long-term use of this method is not recommended. If you need to use the brushless motor for a long time, be sure to be equipped with a professional drive board.

In short, the brushless motor can not work properly without the use of a drive board. In certain cases, the above temporary methods can be tried, but please pay attention to safety and scope of application.
