ntc Thermistor Model Meaning?

ntc thermistor models refer to thermistor phenomena and materials in which the resistance decreases exponentially with increasing temperature and has a negative temperature coefficient.

The material is a semiconductor ceramic made of two or more metal oxides such as manganese, copper, silicon, cobalt, iron, nickel and zinc, which are mixed, formed and sintered, and can be made into a thermistor with a negative temperature coefficient.

The ntc thermistor shows a nonlinear change with the change of temperature, and the resistance value decreases with the increase of temperature.

Using this feature, a negative temperature coefficient thermistor is connected in series at the input end of the circuit to increase the impedance of the line, so that the surge current formed by the surge voltage generated during startup can be effectively suppressed.

When the circuit enters the steady state operation, the ntc thermistor heats up due to the continuous working current in the line, so that the resistance value of the resistor becomes very small, and the influence on the line can be ignored.

NTC Thermistor Product Model Description:

①MF -- -- Negative temperature coefficient (NTC) thermistor code.

②52 -- epoxy resin encapsulated temperature sensor NTC thermistor.

③103 -- the nominal resistance value of the thermistor, indicating that the nominal resistance value of the resistance is: 10×10^3 (Ω).

④ The error (accuracy) of F -- resistance value is: F=±1%, G=±2%, H=±3%, J=±5%

⑤3950 -- the thermal sensitivity index of the resistance (material coefficient) B value is: 395×10(K)
