How does the acceleration sensor work?

An acceleration sensor is a sensor that measures acceleration. It is usually composed of mass block, damper, elastic element, sensitive element and adaptive circuit. In the process of acceleration, the sensor obtains the acceleration value by measuring the inertia force of the mass block and using Newton's second law.

According to the different sensor sensitive elements, common acceleration sensors include capacitive, inductive, strain, piezoresistive, piezoelectric and so on.
