The Snapdragon 888 uses a 5nm process and has a Cortex-X1 core (first) with a maximum of 2.84GHz, three Cortex-A78 cores and four Cortex-A55 cores, making its overall performance much better than the Snapdragon 865. It integrates Qualcomm's third-generation 5G modem and RF system Snapdragon X60, the sixth generation Qualcomm AI engine, the third-generation Snapdragon Elite Gaming system, and the Qualcomm Spectra ISP image signal processor. Support for all major global millimeter wave and Sub-6GHz bands, 5G carrier aggregation, global multi-SIM capabilities, standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) networking modes, and dynamic spectrum sharing (DSS).
