The Kirin 710 processor is equivalent to the Snapdragon 665 processor.
The Kirin 710 has an 8-core design, with four A73 cores and four A53 cores, and uses a Big.Little hybrid architecture, with a maximum frequency of 2.2GHz compared to the Kirin 659, which is about 70% higher.
It is built with TSMC's 12nm process, and this is the first time Huawei has used TSMC's 12nm process. Equipped with a quad-core Mali-G51 graphics processor, official performance has also been greatly improved, and more power saving.
The Kirin 710 processor will also support HUAWEI GPU Turbo, and support Google ARCore, HUAWEI AR dual augmented reality engine and other AR functions. The introduction of TEE technology to support face recognition function continues the inSE security mechanism of Kirin 970.
