A: Loongson 3 is the third generation of Loongson CPU chips independently developed by the Institute of Computing Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and is also a key scientific research project supported by the state during the 11th Five-Year Plan. The Loongson 3 is the first multi-core CPU processor in China with 65nm advanced technology and 1GHz main frequency, marking important progress in China's key devices and core technologies. Loongson III includes single-core, 4-core and 16-core products, respectively, for desktop computers, high-performance servers and other devices, can also be used for IP core authorization.
