Structure and working principle of induction cooker power supply
The switching power supply of the induction cooker is generally two voltage outputs, one 18V and one 5V. 18V is generally used to provide power to the cooling fan and the power tube driver, while 5V is generally used to provide power to the main control chip or the circuit of the logic part. The power consumption of the low-voltage control part of the induction cooker is relatively small, generally not more than 20W, so most of the switching power management chips with integrated power tubes are used, such as VIPer12A, THX203, FSD200 and so on. The following takes VIPer12A as an example to introduce the working principle of the common switching power supply circuit in the induction cooker.
VIPer12A is a power driver chip with built-in switching tube introduced by ST, and its maximum output power is 13W (in-line package, European standard voltage input). This chip is different from other switching power chips in that the drain of its internal switching tube has a voltage source, so after the chip is powered on at high voltage, the starting voltage of the chip can be provided by the voltage source inside the chip, which avoids the external starting resistance.
The main reason for the low 18v voltage of the induction cooker is that the induction cooker is faulty, it is possible that the bulb is dark red or the induction cooker power supply is faulty, resulting in a bright and dark flicker of the bulb, but it is necessary to check whether the CPU driver is faulty. However, most of them are coil damage, resulting in the induction cooker 18v voltage is low, as long as the replacement of the gasket or the replacement of the voltage regulator diode, can solve the problem in time to restore the normal operation of the induction cooker.
