Kirin 9000 chip is a mobile phone Soc based on the 5nm process released by Huawei at 20:00 on October 22, 2020. It adopts the eight-core design of 1 called A77, 3 times 2.54GHzA77, 4 times 2.04GHzA55, and the highest main frequency can reach 3.13GHz. Snapdragon 888 is based on Samsung 5nm process, the CPU uses 1x2.84GHz(ARM's latest CortexX1 core) 3x2.4GHz(CortexA78) 4x1.8GHz(CortexA55), the GPU is Adreno660, using X605Gmodem baseband, Support WiFi6E, Bluetooth5.2. The CPU is the first chip to officially feature the Cortex-X1 core (with some Qualcomm tweaks to the ARM-based design). Compared to the A78, the X1 can execute 33% more instructions per clock, the SIMD hardware is doubled, and the capacity of L1 and L2 caches is also doubled. The Cortex-X1 core operates at 2.84GHz.
Kirin 9000 adopts 5 nanometer process technology, which is the 5G flag chip launched by TSMC, far exceeding the Snapdragon 865, and the Snapdragon 875 level.
