At present, the smallest chip in the world can do 2nm, which was first developed by the century-old technology giant IBM in the United States, the 2nm process technology can be crammed into 50 billion transistors on a chip the size of only a fingernail, improving performance by 45% and reducing power consumption by 75%.
The chips are now as small as five nanometers.
