6nm chip refers to a chip that uses a 6nm process, and nm is short for unit nanometer. In general, when the value is smaller, the power consumption is lower and the performance is higher.
Generally, the chip of a mobile phone is small, about the width of a finger, but it is composed of up to billions of transistors, each transistor has a gate (valve), which is mainly responsible for controlling the source and leakage at both ends. The minimum width of the gate is the number of nm in the process.
Six nanometers means that the chip is made at six nanometers, which is a very advanced process at this stage.
