Implantation of a brain chip has not been successful so far.
There is no such thing as a brain implant. It exists only in science fiction. Current trials of implantable chips in humans operate only simple electronic devices, not long-term implants in the brain. Currently, the only technology that uses electrodes to stimulate the brain is to locate brain function during surgery. It will take time for technology to be realized in science fiction films, and we should not be overly attached to science fiction narratives.
