There are currently more than 10 billion silicon transistors in the chips inside a high-end mobile phone. Taking the Apple a15 as an example, 5 nanometers will be 177.1 million silicon transistors per square millimeter, and the chip area is about 88 square millimeters, so the number of Apple a15 transistors manufactured by TSMC is 15 billion. If it is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4nm chip manufactured by Samsung, its transistor density is lower, about 167 million per square millimeter, and the chip area can reach 15 billion silicon transistors.
