② When the drive terminal needs to be welded, the device or electric soldering iron must be grounded.

2. Selection and use

① Please use within the maximum rating of the product (voltage, current, temperature, etc.), once beyond the maximum rating, may damage the product, especially IGBT plus beyond the Vces voltage may occur avalanche breakdown phenomenon so that the component damage, please be sure to use within the Vces rating range! The higher the working frequency, the smaller the working current; For reasons of reliability, the factor of safety must be considered. If you need to test before use, be sure to use appropriate test equipment to avoid test damage.

② Drive circuit: to ensure that the drive voltage and waveform on the driver terminal of the module meet the drive requirements; Gate resistance Rg is closely related to the on and off characteristics of IGBT, reducing the Rg value decreases the switching loss, decreases the down time, and increases the off pulse voltage. On the contrary, when the Rg value of the grid resistance increases, the switching loss will increase and the switching frequency will be affected. The appropriate Rg value should be selected based on the best compromise (frequency dependent) between the surge voltage and the switching loss, generally between 5 Ω and 100 Ω.

(3) Protection circuit: IGBT module is used at high frequency wiring inductance easy to produce peak voltage, must pay attention to reduce the wiring inductance and component configuration, should pay attention to the following protection items: overcurrent protection, overvoltage protection, grid overvoltage and undervoltage protection, safe work area, overtemperature protection.

④ Absorption circuit: Because the IGBT switching speed is fast, it is easy to produce surge voltage, and a surge clamp circuit must be provided.

⑤ Parallel use: grid circuit, line wiring, current imbalance and temperature imbalance between devices should be considered.

⑥ When using, please avoid places that produce corrosive gases and serious dust.
