When was the n4000 released?

The Intel Celeron N4000 is a dual-core SoC designed primarily for budget laptops and was released in late 2017. It operates at 1.1-2.6 GHz and is based on the Gemini Lake platform. Similar to Apollo Lake's predecessor, the chip is manufactured in a 14nm process with FinFET, but with a slightly improved processor core, a doubling of L2 cache, a smaller package size, a new generation monitor output (Gen 10), and a partially integrated WiFi chip.

In addition to four CPU cores, the chip includes a DirectX 12-enabled GPU and DDR4 \/ LPDDR4 memory controller (dual-channel, up to 2400 MHz). The SoC is not replaceable because it is soldered directly to the motherboard.
