In 2014, Intel released the first generation of 14nm processors. Pat Bliemer, head of Intel Northern Europe and the Economic Union of Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, revealed the news in an interview with the Nordic Hardware website, where he said Intel's Tick-tock strategy is well underway and the 14nm processor chip will be codenamed Broadwell.
