According to public information, Mediatek is a world-renowned IC designer based in Taiwan Province of China, focusing on wireless communication and digital multimedia and other technology fields. It provides chip integrated system solutions, including wireless communication, high-definition digital TV, optical storage, DVD and Blu-ray related products.
Mediatek is currently controlled by foreign investors, and European and American capital controls most of the shares of Mediatek.
