Huawei cannot say which chip research and development company it acquired, but founded and supported the development of hisilicon chips.
Hisilicon, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Huawei, was established in October 2004, its predecessor being Huawei Integrated Circuit Design Center, which was established in 1991.
After more than 10 years of efforts, we have successfully developed Kirin series chips, and among them, Kirin 9000 and 9000e use 5nm process technology, which is comparable to Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 and Apple a13\/14 in performance.
