The method of judging the bad chip of the North and South bridge is as follows:
Temperature method: When standby, touch the south bridge with your hand. If it is hot, the internal short circuit of the south bridge is more likely. Then, after pressing the power button, touch the chipset of the North bridge and the South bridge with your hand to see if it is hot.
Measurement method: Measure the chip capacitor on the reverse side or front side of the chipset. Switch the multimeter to the diode (buzzer) and measure both ends of the chip capacitor. If the resistance value is lower than 20Ω, the chipset is likely to be damaged (some chipsets have a normal resistance value of 14Ω at both ends of the capacitor).
