The driver is a translation dictionary, different hardware needs to be linked to each other, it needs to be translated, when a hardware is installed or issued a command, there is no corresponding driver, the hardware may not understand what to do or can not recognize the hardware at all. Therefore, when the driver is updated, it is generally for the previous driver to make some optimization, or performance improvement, so the motherboard chipset driver can be updated.
If the driver is not installed, installation is still necessary to improve performance. Overall compatibility stability is good. If it's a prompt update, it's not necessary. There is no improvement in performance, and there may be inexplicable problems.
