A multicomponent integrated circuit (MCOs) consists of one or more monolithic, hybrid, or multi-chip integrated circuits and at least one of the following components: A combination of silicon-based sensors, actuators, oscillators, resonators, or components thereof, or elements having the functions of the items listed in heading 85.32, 85.33, 85.41, or inductors of heading 85.04. It is practically indivisible as an integrated circuit, as a component, connected by pins, leads, solder balls, underside contacts, bumps or conductive pressure points, and assembled on a printed circuit board (PCB) or other carrier.
