The HX1346-AGN is an output, constant frequency, synchronous buck DC\/DC converter. Targeted for medium power applications, this device can operate in the input voltage range from 2.5V to 5.5V, and the output voltage can be adjusted in the range from 5.5V to 0.6V, making it ideal for single lithium battery powered applications. Its duty cycle extends battery life in portable systems, while the static current is 250uA during operation and drops to 1uA or less during downtime.
Internally synchronized 0.35Ω, 1A power switches provide rates without the use of external Schottky diodes. A constant switching frequency of 1.5MHz allows for small surface mount inductors and capacitors.
