Huawei router 2.4g and 5g combined is not useful.
The dual-band integration function began to appear on the router, that is, the 2.4G and 5G WIFI signals are combined into a signal, only one SSID and password are set, and then the device can intelligibly select the access frequency band and automatically switch. Mobile phones preferentially use the 5G band, and only when the 5G signal is weak will they automatically switch to the 2.4G band with stronger penetration and longer transmission distance.
However, the current problem is that although the general router can manually set the dual-band in one, the mobile phone will not switch intelligently after connecting to a frequency band. For example, in the bedroom, the mobile phone automatically connects to the 2.4G signal with a strong signal, when the mobile phone approaches the living room router, the 2.4G and 5G signals are strong, the mobile phone is still connected to the slower 2.4G speed, and will not automatically switch to the faster 5G signal.
