Huawei Kirin is a chip designed by hisilicon, a subsidiary of China's Huawei, and developed in China. Kirin chip is designed by Huawei Hisilicon Semiconductor Co., LTD., from the earliest K3V2 series to the later Kirin 6 series and 9 series, and now because of the sanctions of the United States, its last chip is Kirin 9000. Because the Kirin chip was developed by hisilicon Semiconductor Co., a wholly owned subsidiary of Huawei, it was developed in China.
