The iPhone X features a full-screen design in the form of a \"fringe screen\" that does away with Apple's decade-old bottom Home button. Available in 64GB and 256GB versions, it comes in silver and dark space grey. The screen measures 5.8 inches, weighs 174 grams, is 143.6 mm high, 70.9 mm wide and 7.7 mm thick, and has a resolution of 2436 x 1125 pixels. The front-facing camera is 7 megapixels and supports background blurred selfies. Rear rear dual camera, 12 megapixel wide Angle lens (F\/1.8 aperture) 12 megapixel telephoto lens (F\/2.4 aperture) combination, support portrait mode background blur. The phone can be unlocked using a 3D Face ID sensor and supports AirPower (air Power) wireless charging.

The Apple x can use a magnetic power bank, but there is no MagSafe. Magsafe magnetically connects the power cord to the MacBook Pro, making charging the laptop's battery easier than ever. When the power cord tension is too high, the MagSafe power connector securely disconnects from the laptop, helping to prevent the laptop from falling off the workbench. All MacBook Pros are also equipped with a burst motion sensor to protect the hard drive if the computer is dropped.

The Apple X does not support wireless magnetic charging, because there is no magnetic hardware, but wireless charging can be used.
