First, elevate the vehicle and remove the tires. The old shock absorber bracket is then removed from the vehicle and the threaded hole under the shock absorber is cleaned.
Next, gently attach the new shock absorber bracket to the lower part of the shock absorber and make sure the threaded holes are aligned.
Finally, use a torque wrench to torque properly tighten the bracket bolts as recommended by the manufacturer. Reinstall the tires, lower the vehicle and complete the installation.
