The historical nodes from 1949 to 2023 have the following points:
1, the first million times integrated circuit electronic computer successfully developed
< br >
On August 26, 1973, from Peking University, Beijing cable power plant and the Ministry of fuel and other units came a surprise news, they jointly developed China, the first integrated circuit electronic computer with one million operations per second trial successfully.
< br >
This is a major achievement in the history of modern Chinese science and technology development, and can be called a milestone in the history of Chinese electronic computer development. The August issue of \"Xinhua Monthly News\" made a report on this.

2. China launches its first satellite
< br >
On April 24, 1970, Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center successfully launched China's first artificial Earth satellite Dongfanghong-1 with the \"Long March\" carrier rocket. The 173 kg satellite orbits with an inclination of 685 degrees, a perigee of 4391km and an apogee of 2348km. China became the fifth country in the world to launch a satellite.
< br >
The successful launch of \"Dongfanghong No. 1\" laid a very solid foundation for the development of China's space technology, led to the rise of China's space industry, and kept China's space technology in sync with the world's space technology frontier, marking China's entry into the space era.

3. Tangshan Earthquake
< br >
On July 28, 1976, at 3:42:53.8 seconds, an earthquake measuring 7.8 on the Richter scale (moment magnitude 7.5) occurred in the Fengnan area of Tangshan, Hebei Province, China (118.2° E, 39.6° N). The epicenter intensity was 11 degrees, the focal depth was 12 kilometers, and the earthquake lasted for about 23 seconds.
< br >
The earthquake killed 242,769 people and seriously injured 164,851, making it the second deadliest earthquake in the 20th century, after the Kaibara earthquake.

4. Reform and opening up
< br >
On July 15, 1979, the Central Government officially approved Guangdong and Fujian provinces to implement special policies and flexible measures in foreign economic activities, marking the historic step of reform and opening up. Opening up to the outside world has become a basic state policy of China, and China's road to becoming a strong country is a powerful driving force for the development of the socialist cause.
< br >
Reform and opening up have established a socialist market economy. In 1992, the Southern Statement announced that China's reform had entered a new stage.

5. The spaceship Shenzhou V lifts off
< br >
Shenzhou V, the fifth in the Shenzhou series, is China's first manned space vehicle.
< br >
It was launched from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center at 9:00 on October 15, 2003, carrying astronaut Yang Liwei and a special Chinese national flag into space, and returned at 6:23 on October 16, 2003.
< br >
The spacecraft marks the third country after the former Soviet Union (Russia) and the United States to send a human into space. It marks another milestone in China's space technology.
