What is the difference between fast charging and slow charging?

The difference between fast charging and slow charging head is as follows:

Charging interface is different:

Fast charge for high-power DC charging, is the charging interface of DC charging pile. Slow charge refers to AC charging, which is the charging interface of AC charging pile.

In addition, there are the following differences:

1. Different charging methods:

Fast charge converts alternating current from the power grid into direct current, which is sent to the fast charge port of the electric vehicle, and the electric energy is directly charged into the battery. Slow charge inputs the AC power from the grid into the slow charge port of the electric vehicle, converts the AC power into direct current through the charger inside the car, and then inputs the battery to complete the charging.

2, charging time is different:

Fast charging can fill 80% of the capacity of the battery in half an hour, and the slow charging process generally takes 6-8 hours.

The difference is that the charging power is different, and the charging speed of fast charging is generally at least twice faster than that of slow charging.
