Why the laptop has Bluetooth, wireless keyboard can not connect?

It is usually a connection or setting problem, which is divided into two connection methods, receiver connection and Bluetooth connection. First, receiver connection

The wireless keyboard receiver is a USB plug in which there is a wireless receiving device, plug it into any USB port on the computer, wait for the computer to install the hardware driver, and then use it.

Second, Bluetooth connection This connection requires the computer to have Bluetooth function.

1. Device charging

If the device is a new Bluetooth device, make sure it is charged before connecting or turning it on. Bluetooth headphones, in particular, must be charged before use.

2. Turn on the device

Power on the device you want to pair. For some devices, such as Bluetooth wireless headphones, the pairing process starts when the device is turned on.

3. Enable the Bluetooth function

When a device is received, the Bluetooth feature of the device may or may not be enabled. For most computers, users need to enable Bluetooth RF from the control panel or system preferences.

4. Set the device to be visible

As a security measure, Bluetooth functionality can be set to off, hidden, or visible on some devices. When attempting to connect devices, users should set the devices to be visible so that they can be found by each other. Once the device is paired, users can set the device to hide if they are worried about it being discovered by other devices.

5. Set the two devices to connection mode

After both devices are charged, power on the devices and enable Bluetooth, and each device needs to initiate a communication session. Typically, when two devices are connected, one of them acts as an " Main engine " , while the other device acts as " Visitor " . The host device is the device with the user interface, and most connection setup will take place from there. A device can be the host of another device, or it can be a guest of another device. For example, when a phone is paired with a wireless headset, that phone is the host. But when a phone is paired with a laptop, the laptop is the host.

6. Enter your password

After the devices discover each other, the user will be asked to enter a password in one or both devices. In some cases, such as when connecting wireless headphones, the password is a fixed password specified by the manufacturer for the headset. In this case, you need to enter the specified password in the host device. This password can be found in the user manual. In other cases, the user may enter his\/her own password. In these cases, the user will enter the password once in each of the two devices. It is highly recommended that users set an 8-digit alphanumeric character password for a pairing process. After entering the password, the devices will authenticate each other and complete the trust connection.
